I am someone who has many interests, both musically and personally, and I do what I can to nurture them.  Besides playing the clarinet, I also compose music and am a photographer. 

 

Most memorable moment in the orchestra:  playing Mahler

 

Inspirations:  I'm inspired by all my favorite musicians, composers, and artists.

 

Favorite Movie and/or TV Show:  Movie--anything by Stanley Kubrick;

TV Show--The Wire

 

Who would play you in a movie?  Sean Penn (I've been told I resemble him)

 

Favorite foods: Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Indian

 

Hobbies:  running, biking, photography

 

Bad habit: sleeping in

 

Most influential teachers:  Yehuda Gilad, my professor at USC

Favorite pieces of music:  impossible to say; there are too may good ones

 

Dream vacation/trip:  I'd love to do a month long journey through South America  one day
