As Chair of the International Conference of Symphony and Opera Musicians, Bruce Ridge keeps his eye on the progress of orchestras throughout our nation and beyond. Here, in an engaging interview with Michigan Radio's Cynthia Canty, Ridge discusses how following the recession, orchestras are finding new ways of serving their communities and inspiring a fundraising base, and how choosing to invest in them brings continuing return to a community.
