Dana and Todd Roesler

Our family moved back from the San Francisco Bay Area in 2002. When we lived in Northern California we were completely surrounded by the Arts and Music. We’d been away 20+ years upon our return to West Michigan and Grand Rapids. We were thrilled to see how the Grand Rapids Symphony had grown into a world class symphony. Our young daughter was able to continue her pursuit of vocal performance. Singing with the GR Youth Chorus and the Grand Rapids Symphony in such great pieces as Carmina Burana and many more. We took her to many of the Grand Rapids Symphony performances which fueled her love of classical music. As she grew older so did her love of classical music which turned toward opera. Her passion might not have been fueled without the great musicians of the Grand Rapids Symphony and their contribution to our community. She sang for 2 seasons with the Opera Grand Rapids Chorus before moving back to San Francisco to finish her education at the San Francisco Conservatory. Without the talented musicians of the Grand Rapids Symphony future generations of music lovers and aspiring young musicians would not be touched and inspired!
