Our Growing Family
Our GRSMA family has grown, and we are pleased to announce these updates.
In February, Oliver Buchner arrived! Shown here with his parents, GRSMA double bassist Mark Buchner and GRSMA violinist Jenna Anderson Buchner, Oliver’s time as our youngest fan was brief. Why?
Well, in May, GRSMA cellist Shirley Kim and GRSMA violinist Jaewon Seo added Esther Yerin Seo to their family.
We wish the best to Oliver, Esther, and their parents, and we look forward to seeing the kids at our concerts in the future.
In March, bass trombonist Natanel Bikov joined the GRSMA circle. Most recently he was a member of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and studied at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Welcome, Natanel!
For our final update, GRSMA violist Leanne King tied the knot last December. The ceremony was officiated by GRSMA violinist Patricia Kates, which may have been a first in the history of GRSMA. We send our best wishes to the happy couple!
We are thrilled with all of these additions to our growing family!
