Symphonic Metamorphosis

Michael Crawford, longtime GRS Bass Section member, retired from the orchestra at the end of the 2016-17 season. We miss him and wish him all the best.
 
Joo Yun Preece joined the violin section after winning the summer’s section violin audition. Joo is a familiar face, having played extra with us for several seasons, and is married to GRS cellist, Will Preece.
 
Andrew Genemans will be joining the bassoon section after winning the 3rd/Contra Bassoon audition that was held in the Fall. He will be moving to GR very soon to join the orchestra- we look forward to getting to know him!
 
Grace Ye-Eun Kim will be the GRS’ Interim Assistant Concertmaster this season. She moved here from St. Louis and started playing with us this mid-November. We look forward to getting to know Grace, too!
